It is 15 minutes from the historic 11th century city of Xativa with its castle, cobbled streets and colourful local markets. It is also only a short train journey of approx 5 euros return to Valencia with its museum of Arts and Sciences and oceanographic aquarium. There is also an aquapark. and Terra Mitica Theme park largest on the Med a short drive away. Golf at at Oliva Nova a Seve Ballesteros designed course 35-40 mins.

This is an idyllic setting among the orange and olive groves, far from the madding crowd, with lovely walks through the pine covered forests down to lakes and across dried river beds where you can walk for hours without meeting another soul.  Yet it is only half an hour's drive to bustling Valencia with its nightclubs bars and restaurants and then escape back to the tranquility of your villa and private pool.  There is a spectacular drive through mountain scenery to Gandia and Tavernas beaches which are reputed to be the best in Spain with beautiful promenades and white sandy beaches.
